A group of enthusiastic members came out to the model shoot at the Village Green on Saturday, July 18th. The shoot was arranged by Charles McClean who brought the engaging and patient models, Sameisha Williams and Nikita Riley.

Before the shutters got clicking, Charles conducted an exercise for the group to show how to find and utilize the natural light under varying conditions. These included full sun with diffusers, reflectors and fill light and shooting in shade and cloudy situations. Those members who had little experience with portraiture and full figure photography were coached with regard to communicating with the models and the aesthetics of posing. During the session, things became more relaxed and the shutters began to fly more freely.

On wrapping up the shoot, Charles urged participants to know what they want to achieve from shoots and to communicate with the models in order to achieve their outcomes.
