In response to requests from some of the members to learn more about the video functions of their DSLR cameras, the executive arranged a video workshop with the kind cooperation of the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination, UWI, Cave Hill. We appreciate the ready facilitation of the Director, Mr. Harclyde Walcott, Senior Lecturer, Mr. Andrew Millington and Technical Officer, Mr. Jason Russell.
The workshop was held in two sessions, October 27th and November 3rd and was delivered as the following agenda indicates.

The first day of the workshop focused on the differences between still photography and film/video photography, both from the technical point of view, as well as storytelling. Techniques relating to sound recording equipment, lighting and editing were demonstrated and explained on the second day of the workshop.

The nineteen members who attended were very appreciative of the exposure gained from the workshop and look forward to some additional guidance in the critical area of video editing.
